I’ve been a homesteader since I was nine years old. I’ve been a full time farmer, a gardener, and a rancher. I’ve worked in an office, and as a waitress. I’ve lived in a city, and in a rural area. To me, the most fulfilling lifestyle has been homesteading.
Homesteading is not for everyone. If you are someone who wants to live in the city, and work in an office, then homesteading is not for you. If you want to be self sufficient, but do not have the time or space to grow your own food, then homesteading is also not for you.
If you have a lot of land, and a lot of time, and you are willing to learn new skills, then homesteading is right for you. If you want a lifestyle that allows you to have all of the comforts of modern life, but you want to be able to provide for yourself and your family, then homesteading is for you.

I am a full time homesteader, and I am very happy with my lifestyle. I have no desire to ever leave the country, or to ever return to the city. I enjoy being able to get up at 4am every morning, and spend my day working on my farm. I enjoy cooking fresh meals, and eating them with my family. I enjoy living in a place where I can help feed my family, and help them grow into healthy adults. I enjoy being able to provide for my family, and have more than enough to share with my neighbors.
I have learned how to live a better life through homesteading. I have learned how to raise healthier animals, and produce more food. I have learned how to cook better meals, and to make better use of my resources. I have learned how to build better homes, and how to care for them. I have learned how to repair things, and how to make things last longer. I have learned how to be more self reliant, and how to provide for myself.
Homesteading has taught me a lot about living a better life, and it has made me a better person. I am thankful that I have the opportunity to learn from my mistakes, and to make the changes necessary to live the lifestyle that I want.
